And it’s a wrap!

I remember the time when I gave my life to Christ; now I mean, when I got to know Christ for myself not because I was born into a christian home, but really starting the journey with Christ. I could remember vividly that if I wanted to make a decision, all I knew to do was say; Lord, if this isn’t part of your will for me, let it not happen. And, whatever the outcome was, I was satisfied with it. But let’s fast forward to now, things are not strictly the same. You can call it change. You can call it growth.

Oh shoot! Where are my manners?

I salute you my PT! How was your Christmas celebration? Are you all set for the new year?

Okay! Let’s continue…. Continue reading

Merry Christmas to you, My Precious Readers!

I cannot think of a world without the birth of Christ. The gift of Christ is one that will never be quantifiable.

I pray that as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, may his peace be a source of shield in our lives. Amen

Have a peaceful and joyous celebration of the King!

Greetings My Beloved Readers!

I feel it’s been a while I checked up on you. How are you doing? How has your week been? I really wish someone will give me a reply though *Puppy Face*

Oh wait! Christmas is almost here. I hope the items on your wishlists are getting ticked off. More importantly, I hope your joy is full as you reminisce the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, the main reason why we celebrate Christmas. And it’s not news that from late November, that decorations are up, in homes and streets. TV programmes change. Merry Christmas is the new ‘Hello’. Gifts are exchanged. Excitement is in the air! Christmas season is definitely one of merriment.

Well, today’s post can be seen as a timely reminder needed in this season and in all seasons. It may not be a ‘fresh out of the oven’ post, but one thing is certain- a daily reminder is necessary.  Continue reading

Hello PT!

There have been numerous times when I have seen married couples look like each other, most times, you find couples that have been together for quite a long time, look like siblings. There are those who are just getting married and they already look-alike, and I’m like- ‘Can someone explain how that happens?’ Like really, please explain in the comments section. I want to know why and if possible, the theory behind such a mystery. Thank you!

But you see, there is this mystery that we [christians] come to terms with, as we journey with the Lord….‘And we are transfigured much like Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.’ 2 Corinthians 3:18. Continue reading

I remember gushing about spontaneity in this post, a few months ago, and I must say that as christians, if we will be all that we are to be, in bringing glory to God’s name, we need to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. If you ask me, spontaneity should not be an odd happening in our walk with the Holy Spirit. [Disclaimer: Spontaneity outside the word of God is not of the Holy Spirit]

Dearest PT!

Don’t tell me you have no idea what ‘PT’ stands for? Precious Thinker! That’s what PT stands for. This letter has long been overdue. I am one who keeps track of certain things, especially time. But honestly, I never really realised that one year had gone by. Can you believe that this uncertain idea Precious Thoughts is a year old? A year ago, I ventured into dropping thoughts on here, I was not certain of everything I wanted to blog about. All I knew was I had a goal that my blogging needed to accomplish.

Oh! I have to tell you that when I started blogging, it was to encourage all and everyone. I was ready to brew encouragement from every kind of story. Everything is all about perspective. And the whispers were no jokes. ‘You need to do this and that, if you really want to get lots of readers’ This was said in different forms. Of course, I was attentive to those whispers, after all, this was something I had never done before. Continue reading
