Yes, you are right!

We are starting a new segment on the blog today. I am certain this will be one segment that will help us appreciate how far we have come in our relationship with Christ, more like, an evaluation of our journey with the Holy Spirit, as He gives us understanding of the Word of God.

Also, this segment is open to all- Precious Thoughts’ readers can send in their ‘When I got this wrong’ stories to preciousthoughts2013@gmail.com. The aim of this segment is to help give accurate Godly understanding to certain biblical values and truth that we practice. It is not just okay to say ‘Don’t steal’; can we explain to a non-believer why we understand that stealing is a sin? Can we carry out the will of God knowing His mind or do we just do it nevertheless because it is in the bible?

This segment is aimed at propelling us to take the next step- understand the mind of God. If we cannot understand God, we cannot accurately represent Him and draw men to Him. I pray for continuous flow of insight from Christ, upon everyone that will be a part of this- both the readers and contributors. Amen.

Hello! Hello!!

As stated in the last post, we have three more chapters to discuss in this series. I hope you are reading along and gaining some unforgettable lessons as well.

I hope your week has started off on a high note. As for me, I am trying to get my blogging ‘mojo’ back, amidst other things I am involved with at the moment.

Today’s post will be focusing on chapter thirteen of the second book of Samuel. The lessons from this passage are ones that I hold very dearly to my heart. I remember the time when I gave my life to Christ; now I mean, when I got to know Christ for myself not because I was born into a christian home, but really starting the journey with Christ. I could remember vividly that if I wanted to make a decision, all I knew to do was say; Lord, if this isn’t part of your will for me, let it not happen. And, whatever the outcome was, I was satisfied with it. But let’s fast forward to now, things are not strictly the same. You can call it change. You can call it growth.

Greetings My Beloved Readers!

I feel it’s been a while I checked up on you. How are you doing? How has your week been? I really wish someone will give me a reply though *Puppy Face*

Oh wait! Christmas is almost here. I hope the items on your wishlists are getting ticked off. More importantly, I hope your joy is full as you reminisce the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, the main reason why we celebrate Christmas. And it’s not news that from late November, that decorations are up, in homes and streets. TV programmes change. Merry Christmas is the new ‘Hello’. Gifts are exchanged. Excitement is in the air! Christmas season is definitely one of merriment.
